Community Notice: Responsible Pet Ownership & Roaming Pets

Meadow Springs is a community of many pet lovers, and the Board appreciates residents who responsibly care for their pets. Recently, however, the Association has received concerns regarding dogs being allowed onto neighboring lawns and leaving waste behind, as well as cats and other pets roaming onto neighboring properties.

Under Section 2.4 of the Meadow Springs Declaration and the recorded Regulations, pets must be properly restrained when outside a fully confined area and may not enter another owner's lot without permission. These requirements apply to both dogs and cats.

Residents walking dogs should keep pets on the roadway or right-of-way and off privately owned lawns. Cats should not be permitted to routinely roam onto neighboring lots, porches, patios, or yards. Pet owners are also required to clean up after their animals immediately.

The Board is providing this community-wide reminder so all residents have an opportunity to make adjustments before individual violations are addressed. Going forward, documented incidents involving pets roaming freely, entering neighboring property without permission, failure to remove pet waste, or repeated nuisance conditions may be handled through the Association's established violation and enforcement process.

Our goal is compliance, not conflict. Thank you to all Meadow Springs residents — and our responsible fur-baby families — for helping us look out for one another and our community.
